The food made by Mr. Roland was completely amazing. I am from LA and I know what GREAT food the Cajun folks make. I was so delighted to find out they have a local restaurant as well as an amazing catering service. DEFINITELY GO CHECK THEM OUT, you will NOT be disappointed!

Wow! We found this place online, we reluctantly went inside. We were greeted by Mary who made our experience that much better! She made wonderful suggestions. She had us try her special bread! It's worth the drive. The gumbo, jambalaya and ref beans and rice had us all sniffing our runny noses. Nice flavor. The bread pudding was delicious. My husband doesn't eat soggy bread but the subtle flavors he loved. Mary suggested ribs to go for a late night snack....we fought each other for the last one. No fat just wonderful smoked flavor no need for sauce. So glad we found this place while visiting.

Came into town for house hunting & stopped here for lunch!! Great food! We had beef Poboys. Mine dressed. My husband not. Order of Red beans & Rice & Jambalaya on the sides. Jason was awesome & offered a sampling of items to try before we ordered. We tasted the Brisket (AMAZING)!!!! Ordered a bowl of Gumbo to go for the hotel later. It's spicy & really good! We will definitely be back!!! Thanks Jason for the hospitality & great food. Your new "Arizona" friends!!!!

We came to try the New Orleans food but ended up with spectacular BBQ. We shared a smoked platter: ribs, pork, brisket and sausage and chicken. Enough to feed an army. The sides were also fabulous - broccoli salad and coleslaw. The meat was smoked to perfection. This place is inside a gas station on the corner of Holmes and Jordan and the ambiance is pure gas station but it's a must! Our only complaint is it isn't open on Sundays!

Ok, so I have had Cajun all over the country. NOLA to Chicago. My home town of Lexington Ky has an amazing place called Bourbon and Toulouse that I thought was the best North of NOLA. Well, I was wrong. This hole in the wall gas station has some of the best I've had North of NOLA. I had pulled pork with Jambalaya and Smoked Sausage. The pork melted in my mouth like Hersey bar on a hot day. My Jambalaya was just the right kick of spice. The smoked sausage was nothing less than perfect. I wish I was in town more often to try more of the menu.

Heard about NOL from coworkers, been having dreams about some delicious Cajun food. Decided to try it out. I get to this little gas station (thankfully there were banners hung outside), and, although it doesn't look like much, the smells were amazing. I couldn't decide what to have, so I went with the sampler and some bread pudding. Red beans and rice, jambalaya, Andouille sausage and shrimp etouffee with some toasted French bread... ended up making 2 meals out of it. Had to add a bit of hot sauce for me, but was delicious!! I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to specialized foods (Thai, Cajun, German, etc...) and this takes me right back to LA. No frills, delicious, authentic food that is sure to make ya happy. I failed to mention the bread pudding because I have no better words that it melts in your mouth and makes your toes tingle!
